Dr. Gary Dattner graduated from
Cornell University in 1989. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical
Association, New York State Veterinary Medicine Association, Long Island
Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Feline
Practitioners. Dr. Dattner has completed continuing education courses and
regularly attends the North American Veterinary Conference. |

Dr. Joseph I. Deme graduated from
the University of Veterinary Sciences at Budapest, Hungary, in 1988. He has
completed many local monthly continuing education courses. Dr. Deme is a member
of the American Veterinary Medical Association and completed one year of
clinical experience at Iowa State University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr Joseph I Deme is now heading up our team at our
new location, the Mineola Animal Hospital, opened October 2008. |

Dr. Mara DiGrazia
graduated from Cornell University in 1996. She completed a small
animal medicine and surgical internship at Oradell Animal Hospital in 1997. She
is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, New York State
Veterinary Medicine Association, Omega Tai Sigma, Veterinary Emergency and
Critical Care Society and the American Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology. Dr.
DiGrazia has completed continuing education courses including Veterinary
Ultrasound (basic and advanced) and Small Animal Ophthalmology. She is a former
host of the talk radio show "The Pet Vet" and writes the newspaper article "Ask
the Vet" in the New Hyde Park Marketplace. |

Dr. Janice Huang graduated from St.
George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007, completing her
clinical year at the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine.
She recently concluded a small animal medicine and surgical internship at Fifth
Avenue Veterinary Specialists in July 2009. Veterinary Medicine is a second
career for her and she is eager to embark on this new chapter in her life. We
welcome her as a member of our team September 6,2009! |

Dr. Ruth Juris
is a Graduate of Washington State Veterinary Medical College, lifelong
member of the AVMA. She loves horses, and is a member of AAEP (American
Association of Equine Practitioners) for 5 years, and Association of Avian
Practitioners for 4 years. Dr Juris has recently joined the staff of Garden City
Park, and is a welcomed addition!Dr. |

Dr. David Alan Kolins
graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996.
He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Association of
Avian Veterinarians, Association of Reptile Amphibian Veterinarians, Association
of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians, Association of Wildlife Veterinarians, New York
State Veterinary Association and the Long Island Medical Association. |

Dr. Lorraine Socci joined our newest
hospital, Mineola Animal Hospital in October of 2008, heading up our team there
with Dr Joseph I. Deme. Dr Socci graduated from Cornell University in 1983. She
is a member of the American Medical Association, New York State Veterinary
Medical Association, and attends yearly continuing education conferences. She
has a special interest in emergency medicine shelter medicine.

Dr. Jennifer Steiger joined our
staff in July 2008. She is a graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary
Medicine,
completing her clinical year at Auburn University, Alabama. Dr. Steiger is a
Magna Cum Laude member of the National Honor Society, and active member of
NYSVMA, LIVMA and AVMA. She has a special interest in Dermatology and
Ultrasound. |

Dr. Susan Whittred graduated from
Cornell University in 2003. She is a member of the New York State Veterinary
Association, the American Veterinary Medical
Association, the American Association of Feline Practitioners, the Long Island
Veterinary Medical Association, and the Association of Shelter Veterinarians. Dr. Whittred received the American Association of Feline Practitioners award in 2003
for outstanding interest and ability in feline medicine and surgery. |
